Helping the community

If your child becomes ill at school, a Nurse Practitioner from our office works with your school nurse to examine and treat your child using our Telehealth technology equipment without your child ever leaving the school.

In addition, our nurse practitioners dedicate one day each week to practice in partnering schools to provide health care services while working with your child’s school nurse. Currently there are 11 participating schools.

These services are available at partnering Knox County schools and change each year depending on need. Check with your child’s school to know if these services are available to you! Your school nurse will contact you and your permission obtained before any evaluation is provided.
